HOW MUCH DOES SWIM TEAM COST?

Registration for Returning Swimmers begins March 1, 2024 and ends on March 23th. Cost for Returning Swimmers will be at last year's rates. 

Open registration begins March 1, 2024 for all swimmers. Cost for registration is $150 for the 1st swimmer, $145 for the 2nd swimmer, and $140 for all remaining swimmers.

This fee includes professional coaching at practices, all meet fee entries, insurance coverage, pool usage fees, swim meet awards, a QVST Dolphin team shirt PLUS a season pass to ALL of our fantastic Dolphin "Summer-Fun" events.

There is also a Volunteer Deposit hold required of $200 per family or $250 per family with older (15+) swimmers. This will not be run until June 28th IF the family has not met their volunteer requirements.

How Can I get a Free Registration?

$250 in Sponsorships = Free Registration for ONE swimmer

Sponsorships help keep our team running. We have chosen this year to focus on sponsorships instead of a team fundraiser BUT we need your help to recruit new sponsors to make this possible. Our structure this year, for every $250 in sponsorships you recruit, you get a free swimmer registration. Have three kids and want free registration for all of them, that’s $750 in sponsorships. That can be three different $250 sponsors or one $750 sponsor. It is up to you!

This does not exempt your family from the Volunteer Deposit.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED?

Registration forms and payments will only be processed online. We will not offer paper registration forms or accept checks/cash as payment. We use "Stripe" to process credit/debit cards; you will receive a receipt via email after your transaction for your records.

IN STARTING REGISTRATION, I SEE A MESSAGE SAYING "RETURNING MEMBER? LOG IN TO RETRIEVE INFORMATION FROM YOUR PREVIOUS REGISTRATION." WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you are a previous member of our team, your email address may be in our system already. You can find out by clicking "Login" and entering your email address. The system will not have a password on file for you, so you can click the "Forgot your password link" to receive a link via email to reset your password.

It's also possible that your email address is not yet in our system. You'll know this because when you go through the "Forgot password" process, it will return a message saying "No user was found with that email address."

In that case, please return to the registration page and complete the form. After you've submitted it, you will receive an email with instructions for creating an online account. Creating an account allows you to view your swimmers' times and other information.

What is the Volunteer Policy?

In short, the team needs volunteers in order to host a successful season. To accomplish this goal, we have implemented a policy that each family must complete the required number of shifts or they will be charged a volunteer deposit. 

The volunteer deposit for 2024 is $200 which would be charged June 28th following Meet of Champions for those who do not meet their volunteer goals.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A VOLUNTEER ROLE?

Each family is required to sign up for at least one role during the registration process. Each role is worth a number of "Volunteer Points" in our system. Each swim family must sign up for at least one point as part of the registration process. Most families choose to elect more than just one volunteer from each family in order to earn all of their volunteer points for the season. You MUST sign-up EACH adult family member that will be participating as a volunteer in earning your family's "Volunteer Points" for the season during this enrollment process.

There are also MANY ways in which a family can volunteer outside of the traditional roles available in the registration process. That is especially true since creating the QVST Standing Committee and all of our new 'Summer Fun' events in 2024. How Much is Learn to Swim Registration?

Learn to swim registration is handled by our OSAS partners and done on their webpage. For any of the April Learn to Swim sessions, it is $75 which is a guaranteed 8 lessons. 

This DOES NOT include the Meet Team Registration is a stand alone cost this year.
